Work Seamlessly Across Devices with Windows 11's New "Hand Off" Feature

Imagine starting a document on your phone during a meeting and then effortlessly picking up right where you left off once you're back at your desk. Microsoft is making this possible with an exciting new feature in Windows 11, called "Hand Off," that aims to simplify workflows for busy professionals.

Currently in testing, “Hand Off” is designed for those who work on both mobile and desktop devices. Here’s how it works: Suppose you start a report in Microsoft Word on your phone. When you return to your PC, a notification will pop up, asking if you’d like to continue working on that same document. With a single click, you can switch devices and continue seamlessly without losing your place or your progress.

This seamless integration is powered by OneDrive's syncing capabilities and is currently compatible with Android devices, with support for iPhone likely to follow. For teams that work remotely or frequently switch between devices, this tool could save valuable time and reduce workflow interruptions.

Although "Hand Off" hasn’t rolled out broadly yet, it’s already showing promise as a productivity booster for businesses that use Microsoft tools.
