These SMS Terms & Conditions govern the Black Bear MSSP SMS Messaging Program provided by Black Bear MSSP, LLC ("Black Bear MSSP," "we," "our," or "us").
SMS Messaging Program
Black Bear MSSP provides SMS communications exclusively to existing managed service clients and their authorized contacts for customer support and service-related communications.
The Black Bear MSSP SMS support number is not publicly advertised and is provided only to authorized managed service clients.
SMS communications may include:
- Technical support
- Help desk communications
- Support ticket updates
- Troubleshooting assistance
- Maintenance notifications
- Appointment scheduling
- Requested business information
- AI-assisted customer support through AetherAI
Black Bear MSSP does not use SMS messaging for advertising, promotional marketing, lead generation, or unsolicited communications.
Consent to Receive SMS Messages
Customers may request SMS communication during an active customer support interaction.
Before SMS communications are enabled, a Black Bear MSSP representative:
- Explains the Black Bear MSSP SMS Messaging Program.
- Provides access to the Privacy Policy and these SMS Terms & Conditions.
- Confirms the customer's mobile phone number.
- Obtains the customer's express consent to receive customer-care and service-related SMS communications.
SMS communications are sent only after express consent has been obtained.
Consent to receive SMS communications is not a condition of purchasing any products or services.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on active support requests, customer inquiries, requested service communications, and ongoing support cases.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply according to your wireless carrier.
Opt-Out
Customers may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message.
After opting out, customers will no longer receive SMS communications unless they subsequently provide new express consent.
