# Goodbye Windows 10

Microsoft recently announced that the current version of Windows 10, released in 2022, will be the final release. If you're currently using Windows 10, it's essential to understand the implications for your day-to-day operations.

The good news is that your computers will continue to function normally, and existing updates and security patches for Windows 10 will remain available for the foreseeable future.
